Milagro "Critter"
Savage
Mili
This is the page dedicated to one of the smallest members of our family, Mili. It's often blurred who's the pet, and who's the owner, but either
way we still love her. And she's still a Spaz.
If you look at the bottom part of the page you can see some
pictures of when we first got her.
Hailey isn't the only one in the house enjoying her new
bed. Here you can see Mili enjoying Hailey's new bed.

Here is a random picture we took of her playing with
some paper. She loves playing with paper and climbing inside of
it.

As spring has arrived this year we decided we wanted to
start having some bird feeders in our backyard. This of course
excited Mili as she had animals outside the window she could torment.
Luckily there's a nice big chunk of glass to stop her from getting the
little birdies, but it doesn't stop for from jumping 5+ feet up to get
them. Here you can see some of the hummingbirds coming to one of
the feeders.

The other thing the feeders do is bring out the
squirrels. Lots of them. We have a family of 5 or so that
are now frequent visitors to our backyard. We hung the birdfeeder
off the house in hopes they wouldn't get to it, but we were wrong.
Here you can see how they climb up our house, and jump across into the
feeder.

This of course drives Mili bonkers. But the
squirrels are smart enough to know she can't get them. Here you
can see one taunting her just outside the sliding door.

And here you can see one trying to give her a kiss
through the glass.

And here you can see Mili helping Hailey paint a sign
for Daddo. If you look on Hailey's Apr/May 08 page you'll see
another picture of this project.

Well Mili has had to learn to share many of her toys
with Hailey. Here you can see Christie making both of them play
with Mili's laser pointer. Notice the moment of impact, and then
how each of them goes their separate ways... Click on the picture
below to watch the video.

If you've had a chance to look at Hailey's 12th month
page you'll see she got a new Kitchen for her Birthday. Well along
with that came a present for Mili, a big box. Here you can see her
chillin' in her box, hiding from Hailey.

There aren't many spots Mili can find safety from the
other little monster in the house, but she has a few. Here you can
see her taking a little nap on the window sill.

Some people have mentioned that we've neglected to post pictures
of our other child lately. Well here are a few to show that she's adjusted
well to the new addition to the family. First you can see that she'll make
anything her bed if we let her. She doesn't even care what it is...

One night when Scott got home from work he left his laptop case
open on the futon. Well that looked like a snugly place for Mili it
appears, 'cause she decided to make herself at home inside of it.

We decided to tell Mili that she's going to have to adjust soon
to not being the only little girl in the house. We weren't quite sure how
she was going to take the news... but as you can see from the picture below she
didn't take it well...

And then we did a "test drive" with a friends baby. We
babysat her for a couple hours one day, and here you can see Mili's reaction to
that...

We bought a new hutch for downstairs and Scott
installed a set of halogen lights in it to light up the dishes. Here you
can see his little helper on the ladder with him.

And here she is with one of her all time favorite "toys".
You know the old saying give a kid a toy and he'll play with the box for hours,
same goes for our cat. She absolutely loves this bag from the Oregon
Store. She will fly down the stairs, scream down the hallway, and slam
into the bag. In fact one time she flew into the bag so hard her momentum
made her bang into the fireplace. Usually she just sits in it and attacks
the bag for no apparent reason.

Well her first birthday has come and gone, and now she is
definitely changing away from being a little kitten. She's still a spaz,
she just sleeps more now. Here she is playing with a toy that Bonnie gave
us.

And to show you how big she is here is a picture we took of her
a long time ago when she was a kitten, but if you put your mouse over the
picture you can see her now...

For her birthday she got presents of course. You already
saw the toy that Bonnie gave her, now here are the toys we gave her. You
can see the little cat next to her bowl, and the brown fuzzy thing on the left.
She also got a special birthday meal with simulated candle. Here she is
chowing down in the office.

She has found an interesting pose she enjoys laying in.
Basically it's laying down on her back looking straight up, in a not so lady
like pose. Here she is laying on the kitchen floor. And if you want
to see how big she is now compare that with the pictures at the bottom of the
page where she's playing as a kitten. The tile sizes are the same...

And now that she is getting older she is starting to mellow out
a bit. She enjoys watching TV and movies with us. Here you can see
her sitting on the couch watching TV with Chris. This is not posed, she
did this herself, and does it often. Can't you just imagine a TV remote,
and a drink in her hand?
Here she is posing from 2004 in our Christmas tree. She
felt it was a good place to nap and chill out in. Guess it was her way of
staying wild.

Here she is posing on the couch in our newly painted Living
Room. This is one of her favorite places to nap because it's very soft and
squishy.

Here she is in our bedroom looking all majestic. You can
also see our newly painted bedroom in the background.

And then it came the time when we had to make her a little less
of a kitty. That's right she had to get fixed. First here is a shot
of her the day she came home, still WHACKED out on her kitty drugs. I
think we've all had days where we feel like this... If you look closely
you can see her shaved belly, and her bright green stitches.

And being the fiesty little critter she is she wouldn't stop
playing with her belly. So she had to wear the paper radar dish of shame.
As you can see she is very proud of it.

Scott Built her a Kitty Condo that she can play on. It has
two main parts that stick up 3 feet and 4 feet tall, then it has a tunnel on the
bottom. Here you can see her laying on top of it, resting after attacking
the thing for a few minutes. She goes wild on the thing flying from level
to level with reckless abandon...

She is starting to get good at finding hiding spots too.
Christie spent about an hour looking for her one night and couldn't find her.
Then she heard a weird knocking coming from the closet. Low and behold she
found a way to nap inside of the hangers in the closet.

Here we are as one big happy family. As you can see she's
still little, but much bigger than a month or so ago when we first saw her.

She's slowly getting acquainted with the house and getting more
and more active. Here she is sitting on a towel on our couch downstairs,
looking all cute an innocent. She's not fooling anyone...

And again here she is looking all cute and snugly asleep in her
new bed.

And here she is playing with a Sponge Bob shoelace, a kitty toy,
and the top from an orange juice bottle.

And then the real personality starts to emerge (right after her
bath)... "Don't do that to me ever again!"
